Dec 2011 Goodspeed Musicals have announced that HARMONY, KANSAS will be featured as part of their Annual Festival of New Artists. The festival runs Jan 13-15, 2012, in East Haddam, CT, and the HARMONY, KANSAS workshop presentation will take place Jan 13 at 7:30pm in the Goodspeed Opera House. Dec 2011 Diversionary Theatre in San Diego has announced that they will produce the world premiere of HARMONY, KANSAS as part of their 2012 season. Previews are June 14 to June 22. Opening Night is June 23 at 8pm. Performances run through July 22, 2012. More info here or read the press release |

July 2011 If you are in Connecticut this Wednesday, July 13th, come hear some incredibly talented young singers perform new works by Anna and her collaborators Anton Dudley and Jennifer Stafford as part of the Hotchkiss School Summer Concert Series. The concert is free and takes place at 7:30pm in Katherine M. Elfers Hall in the Esther Eastman Music Center. School grounds are open for picnics beforehand. Click here for more info |

February 2011 HARMONY, KANSAS is set to receive its first reading on Tuesday, February 22nd, 3:30pm, at the Barrow Group in Midtown. The reading will be directed by Richard Biever, Artistic Director of Singing on Stage Productions, and Lynne Shankel will music direct. October 2010 It's been quite the month for concerts! On October 2, Deone Zanotto, Hayden Tee and Michael-August Turley performed a collection of Anna's songs at a gala event to benefit the Australian Independent Schools USA Foundation, and on October 11, Michael-August also performed "Ghosts of Gay Sex (In The 70's)"- a new song by Anna and Michael R. Jackson- at the Joe's Pub concert "So F*#%ing Gay: A Michael R. Jackson Song Thing." Next up, Anna and Zachary Redler's song "Stay" will be performed in a Lincoln Center Songbook series concert at 6pm on October 25, featuring the songs by Zach and Sara Cooper. The concert is FREE and will take place at the Bruno Walter Auditorium (New York Public Library Library for The Performing Arts @ 111 Amsterdam Avenue and 65th Street). |

July 2010 Anna is currently Composer-In-Residence at Hotchkiss Summer Portals in Lakeville, CT. Her newly commissioned choral piece, "They Shall Take Up The Serpents," with libretto by Sara Cooper, will receive its premiere next Wednesday, July 14 at 7:30pm, along with a couple of her latest theater songs. Mar 2010 Anna is thrilled to have been selected for this year's New Dramatists Composer-Librettist Studio, which is presented in cooperation with Nautilus Music-Theater and runs March 17 - April 2. Each of the studio's participating five playwrights, five composers and five performers work in a round robin fashion so that, by the end of two weeks, 25 brand new songs have been created.
